Add and save auto actions

Click on “Live Chat” on the left, then select your site. In the column that appears, click “Auto Actions”, click the button – “Add Auto Action”.

In this tab, you can set up auto actions for your online chat.

STEP 1
Select the type of auto-action to add.

BASIC
Text message to visitor
Automatic greeting – when this format is selected, a message with preset settings will be created for the visitor. You only need to enter the text of the message that will be shown to the visitor.

Keeping a customer leaving – if a customer decides to leave your site and their cursor leaves the site, they will be shown an online chat tab with your message.

Another message – you will need to choose filters and settings yourself.

In the tab that appears – “Select predefined filters” you can choose on which visit of the user the auto-action “First” or “Repeated” will be triggered. If this is unimportant to you, select the appropriate item.

In the “Current Agent Status” section, choose whether your agent should be online or not.

You can write a simple text message using our editor.

If you know how to write HTML code or you have a specialist on staff, then with the help of our HTML code editor, auto-actions will be under your complete control.

Open widget
Open any previously created online chat tab.

STEP 2
OPERATORS
Display department with operators
With this auto-action, you can show the client a specific department of operators.

Make operator visible/invisible
You can show the required operators or hide them when the auto-action is triggered.

Hide department with operators
Hide the department with operators that should not be visible.

TABS
Make tab visible/invisible
Show or hide the extra tab when an auto-action is triggered.

CHAT SHORTCUTS
Show/hide label
You can hide the live chat shortcut for certain visitors.

VISITORS
Mark a visitor as a target
Target visitors are the most important visitors for the business. You can set up criteria – city, search query, referral source, referral page, etc. If the site is visited by a visitor that meets the set criteria, the system will notify you.

The system will display the target visitor with a target icon.
