If your website was created using the UMI.CMS website builder, then you can use our instructions to set up an online chat.
STEP 1
Access the site via FTP and select the /tpls/content/ directory
STEP 2
In the header.inc.tpl file, paste the widget code right after the <head> tag. If your site uses several templates, then you need to install the code in this way in all templates.
STEP 3
Save the file and refresh your website page.
INSTALLATION VIA ADMINISTRATION PANEL
You can also try to install the widget through the administration panel (we want to warn you that this is rather inconvenient in UMI.CMS, it is better to place the code using FTP access)
STEP 1
Log in to the UMI admin panel, go to the page where the widget will be placed. Click Edit (HTML editing).
STEP 2
Insert the widget code, for example, before the closing </body> tag.
STEP 3
Save the page and update it on your site. Note! If you edit this block again, UMI incorrectly corrects the widget code – you need to delete the code in place of the widget code and insert it again. This will have to be done every time you edit the text.
